Privacy Policy

This policy describes how VertiLeads (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information on the marketing website (vertileads.com / this WordPress site) and in the VertiLeads application (app.vertileads.com). Product features may evolve; where this policy and in-app notices differ for account data, the in-app notice controls for that feature.

Information we collect

Marketing site. When you use contact or notify forms, we may collect your name, email, company, and message content, plus basic technical data (IP address, browser type) used for security and spam prevention. We may also use bot-prevention services (for example Cloudflare Turnstile) on forms and app signup.

Product accounts. If you create an account, we process account credentials (email and password), email-verification status, profile details, billing information (via payment processors such as Stripe), organization and team membership, plan usage (for example new-lead allocations), saved targeting and lists, outreach templates and schedules, and support communications.

Connected inboxes (paid plans). If you connect Gmail via Google OAuth, we receive tokens and limited mailbox access needed to (1) send outreach you authorize from your editable template on a schedule, and (2) read delivery/reply metadata for known outreach recipients so we can suppress unsubscribes and optionally send one reply-aware follow-up. We request Gmail send and readonly scopes for that purpose. We do not sell your mailbox contents or use your inbox to train unrelated models.

Company / lead data. VertiLeads helps you find businesses that match the industries, locations, and ICP you set. Company and contact details come from public web sources and automated research against those criteria. Contact emails are quality-checked before scheduled send; CSV exports may still include contacts that are not ready to auto-email.

How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and operate the marketing website
• Provide account access, search, export, billing, and support
• Send outreach email from your connected inbox when you enable that feature
• Improve data quality, prevent abuse, and secure the service
• Communicate product updates when you ask us to or as needed for the service

Email outreach and your responsibility

Automated or assisted email outreach sends from your connected mailbox using templates you control. You are responsible for complying with applicable anti-spam, marketing, and privacy laws (including CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and similar rules where they apply), for having a lawful basis to contact recipients, and for providing required disclosures or unsubscribe mechanisms in your messages. We may rate-limit, suspend, or disconnect inboxes that appear abusive or that create deliverability or legal risk.

Third-party providers

We use service providers for hosting, transactional email, analytics (if enabled), payments, and Gmail mailbox connection. Those providers process data under contracts appropriate to their role. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

The marketing site may use essential cookies for security and session function. If we enable analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, provide consent controls.

Retention

We retain marketing inquiries as needed to respond and keep business records. Account and usage data are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing, security, and legal obligations. Connected-inbox tokens are retained while the connection is active and removed or invalidated when you disconnect or close your account, subject to backup retention windows.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact hello@vertileads.com to make a request. You can disconnect a mailbox at any time in the product settings (when available).
